Bible story unlocked
Terms clarified before the beginning - what are we talking about and what terms do we use ?
Justice - appropriate payment for action performed
Love - decision, feeling and power to create and maintain someone no matter of his condition
Death - situation of not being in relationship with God
Sin - decision not to be in relationship with God
Sinful nature - situation in which all humans are born, inherited from Adam
Eternal life - situation in which we live for ever
The story
Man inherited nature which is sinful which means
"Everyone sinned and lost glory of God" , taken from Romans 3:23
This happened ever since the fall of Adam. Man was made to live in relationship with God, but, because of his wrong choice of relying on own decisions instead of God's, the relationship was broken. This wrong decision of not being in relationship with God is popularly called - sin.
Justice
As a result of inheritance of sinful nature, man received consequence of his action :
"Payment for sin is death" , taken from Romans 6 : 23
In other words, God is source of justice - he is just and pays appropriate wage for action performed by man.
Love
But, apart from being just, God is immensely loving. Man's decision put Him in position to reconcile justice and love- pay man wage of sin (death) and give man new life (love). How did God do this ?
Since justice demanded death, He killed Jesus. By us accepting Jesus as spiritual master, he gave us life.
In other words, after we accept Jesus, we are forgiven our sinful nature and given life.
What does this mean in practice ?
It means that the most powerful person in the universe, made decision that, no matter my sinful nature, He found the way to be in relationship with me. Any requirement from my side ? Yes. Since God won't be where sin is, I need to accept Jesus as my spiritual master. This also means I need to understand that I sinned and repent, and ask God to start talking through my mind with me by means of Holy Spirit.
What's in it for me ?
Talk to God. Have God make my talents come out in full. Have God protect me from all perils I am to encounter. And best of all - live for ever after death of physical body.
All right. What is my prayer ?
Dear God, I am thankful for you let me know this truth. I understand I have sinful nature and I repent for all sin, committed or inherited. And I also accept Jesus Christ as my spiritual master. Please send the Holy Spirit to me and make your promises of joy and prosperity be fulfilled in my life. Amen.
Now what ?
Now you can talk to God. Apart from this, fellowship with other believers is essential - we receive God's gifts from other people too. So - do not - do not wait someone invites you to the church or Bible study. Volunteer and choose community that is appropriate for you.

versus
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Matthew 7: 24,25
Daily line from the Gospel
18 - 22 September 2007, Liberation of the righteous from graves
Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
Matthew 27: 50,54
16,17 September 2007, Jewish religious leaders
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
Matthew 23: 13,14
15 September 2007, Divorce and marriage
31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
Matthew 5: 31, 32
14 September 2007, Offence to the little ones
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
Matthew 18: 4-11
13 September 2007, Strait gate to life
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7: 13, 14
12 September 2007, Love of God for me
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Matthew 10: 28
10,11 September 2007, Opening door to devil second time
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
Matthew 12:43 - 45
8,9 September 2007, Sin in darkness or walk in light ?
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 001:006
7 September 2007, The only cause of the riches and wealth - relationship with God
Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.
My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.
I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:
That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.
Proverbs 008:018
6 September 2007, Financial freedom and success
And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the
fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the
fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy
fathers to give thee.
The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the
heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to
bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many
nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail;
and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if
that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God,
which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I
command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left,
to go after other gods to serve them.
Deuteronomy 28:11
5 September 2007, Financial freedom and success
By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.
Proverbs 022:004
4 September 2007, Financial freedom and success
The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
Proverbs 010:022
3 September 2007, Power to those who believe, prayer and fasting
And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;
And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.
He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.
And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.
And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.
And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.
But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.
And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?
And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
Mark 9:17
2 September 2007, Eternal life - gift of God
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Romans 8:11
1 September 2007, Life after death of perishable body
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
I Corinthians 15:42-46
31 August 2007, Eternal life to those who believe
The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
I am that bread of life.
Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
John 6:41-50
27, 28, 29 August 2007, Marriage and Sex
Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment.
For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.
But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
I Corinthians 7:1-9
27 August 2007, Grace
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
I Corinthians 15:10
26 August 2007, Enticement - Lust - Sin - Death
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
James 001:014
25 August 2007, Abundance
And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.
And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:
Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.
He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?
He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.
And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.
And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.
And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.
And they did all eat, and were filled.
And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.
And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.
And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.
And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain
Mark 6th chapter
24 August 2007, God is faithful - always
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
Matthew 19, 29
23 August 2007, God made men free and has no other option but to respect their freedom
So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
Matthew 8, 31-32
22 August 2007, Rejoice! Your debt is cancelled and eternal life given to you as a gift!
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;
The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Luke 1, 68-79
